Each story is unique. But what they have in common is the need for a new kidney. Without a working kidney, a person must spend hours each week “living”on a dialysis machine. Many die each year while waiting.
The medical community agrees that the best treatment is a kidney transplant. Over 100,000 people are on the national waiting list for a kidney. Here is just a sampling of the stories of our friends and neighbors who live in Western New York and who are in desperate need of a “kidney connection.”
