Tell your story, People are inspired by your stories.
Be creative, People will see that you are a person and not just a number on a waiting list.
- Describe your current health condition (briefly)
- Share a little history
- Tell how you are keeping yourself healthy
- Share anything that makes your story unique
- Tell how they can help, like saying you would be grateful if they could help you tell your story
Include a photo! Profiles will not be posted without a photo.
Once you submit your information we will contact you and post your profile on the Kidney Connection.
Check your emails every day and respond immediately if someone contacts you. You may receive some offers from people in other countries. Our advice is to ignore these requests and to delete anything with a reference to paying for a kidney. It is illegal to buy or sell an organ in the United States. You are allowed by law to pay for travel, food, lodging and loss of wages to your donor.
