I am a 63 year old grandfather who needs a kidney. 40 years ago I was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes, the cause of my kidney failure. I have been married to my wife Sharon for 30 years. I have 3 grandkids, Alexis, Jayden, and baby Gianani. I enjoy playing school with Alexis and cars with Jayden. I enjoy going to classic car shows with my family.
In 2008 I retired from the Buffalo News after 39 years where I worked as a truck driver. In 2001, I received a kidney from a co-worker. Recently, I had to go on the transplant list. I am now on dialysis 3 days a week. I have type B blood and can accept B or O.
