Hello everyone and thank you for reading my story!

I am a 33-year-old who has battled kidney disease since I was 8 months old. I received my first transplant from my mother when I was just 23 months old. That transplant lasted until I was 26. I was blessed to receive my second transplant from my new brother-in-law just a month after getting married.

Unfortunately, that transplant only lasted me seven years and I am now in end-stage renal failure. I have been doing dialysis three times a week since July 2020. I am still working full time at my local hospital as a Laboratory Assistant and am a support member of my local firehouse.

I was an active Emergency Medical Technician for almost 10 years, but had to give up volunteering when my transplant began to fail. That’s the one thing I would love to do again. I’ve always loved helping others and if I had the energy to be on squad calls, I still would be out there doing that.

I currently do not have a guaranteed donor and I am not listed on the National Transplant List due to other medical issues. Those issues have prevented me from finalizing my medical workup at the transplant center. I am hopeful that this program can put me in contact with someone willing to help me with an amazing gift: The gift of life.

Thank you all!! If interested please message me
