My name is Chris Sorenson. I am 48 and I have Stage 5 Kidney Disease. Since I was 13, I suffered from chronic bone infections that resulted in being placed on numerous high dose IV antibiotics. These antibiotics that treated my infections at the time have now, over the years, had a negative effect on my kidneys. Regrettably, I now need a Kidney Transplant to live a normal life. A kidney from a living donor is the fastest and most viable chance for a successful transplant. If I receive a transplant soon, I will avoid dialysis, which is debilitating. I wanted to let you know about my need and would be grateful if you shared my story.
