Hello, my name is Cheyenne. I am 25 years old, and I have end-stage renal disease. After the 1999 Washington County Fair outbreak of E. coli, my kidneys shut down when I was 2 ½ years old. I was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease, stages 3b-4 for most of my life. In 2020, I was diagnosed with end-stage renal (stage 5) and since March 2022 I have been on dialysis.
I am on the transplant list, and am waiting for a kidney so I can truly begin my adult life. I graduated from Mount Holyoke College, and received my Masters from Seton Hall University. My area of expertise is diplomacy and international relations, and I someday envision being in the foreign service or working for a think tank. I love traveling and I see myself traveling around the world.
My family and I would be grateful, honored, and indebted to someone for this life-saving transplant.
