I have Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD). I was diagnosed at the age of 35 and now 40 yrs old. I have been able to stay healthy through following my dietary restrictions. Also, through my church at a young age was taught to treat my body like a temple. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We have the Word of Wisdom which has helped. I havent taken any drugs, nor do I drink booze due to this principle of the gospel.
