My Story – Cora Gargano
Cora Gargano is 6 years old, lives in Saratoga Springs, NY. She has Blood Type A. Can also receive “O” Any Blood Type can test. You can contact Cora’s Mom by using the form below.
Cora is a loving, sweet and happy 6 year old girl. She was born with a congenital heart defect that wasn’t fixed appropriately after birth. Unfortunately, due to complications she was left with permanent kidney damage and has battling chronic kidney disease for the past 6 years.
She is now on daily dialysis at home which affects what she can do as a young child.
Many people have been tested for Cora but due to several blood transfusions as an infant it is making the search harder. She is highly sensitized and this will be like finding a needle in a haystack.
However, we are determined to find that needle.
She is the strongest and most brave little girl who has endured so much in her life. I want her to go back to being a kid again and having more independence.
Please help us find a match for Cora. Cora can receive from anyone that is “A” or “O” Blood type.
