My name is Stephanie I’ve been on Dialysis 2 years and on the waiting list for 2 years. My dad passed away in 2004 because of kidney and heart failure. He was on dialysis for 10 years. He passed away at 59 and I’m hoping to not follow in his foot steps. I struggled a lot in life and in 2011 had to have the gastric bypass because of my health and fluid and gout I gained so much weight and could not get it off. and I knew if my heart went bad or if the weight did not come off I could never get a transplant so after surgery I worked hard and lost over 250 pounds. Now I just sit and pray for a miracle.
